Our Junior Holiday Club is introducing some exciting changes, designed to make the programme even more engaging for young people!
WHAT’S NEW:
đź’šHoliday Club will run from 8am-1pm each day, giving young people a positive start to the day.
đź’šEach day will feature a special theme, creating an an engaging, structured programme packed with fun!
đź’šYoung people who attend Holiday Club in the day can now attend the Junior evening session!
 JUNIOR EASTER HOLIDAY CLUB (8-12 YEAR OLDS)
Our Junior Easter Holiday Club will running 8am-1pm on:Â
🌟Monday 6th April – Friday 10th April
It is ÂŁ12 for the day, which includes breakfast, lunch and a snack!
We also offer a number of free HAF spaces to members who meet the eligibility criteria.

JUNIOR HOLIDAY CLUB - FAQs
What ages is the Holiday Club for?
SYZ’s holiday club is for our Junior members, aged 8-12 years old.
What are the times of the Holiday Club day?
From April 2026, our Holiday Club day will be changing to run from 8am-1pm.
Drop off will be 8am-9am and collection time will be 1pm.
Do I have to be a member at SYZ to attend?
Yes – you can register to become a member here.
Can I drop off my children at a later time?
Children can arrive later than their session start time, however please note that activities will start at 9:00am and breakfast stops serving at 9:15am.
Can I pick up my child earlier than the allocated pick up time?
Yes, collection time is 1pm however if your child needs to leave before this, this is absolutely fine!
Can my child attend the session in the evening if they have attended the Holiday Club?
Yes, young people are able to return to the Youth Zone for the evening session. However, they are not permitted to remain on site during the hours in between.
What is the cost of a Holiday Club place?
Holiday Club places are ÂŁ12 per day, which includes breakfast, lunch and a snack!
We also offer a number of free HAF spaces to members who meet the eligibility criteria.
Can I move my booking to another date?
Yes, you can move a booking up to 3 working days before the original date and only if there is space available on the new date.
Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
Yes, you can cancel a booking and get a full refund as long as this is no later than 3 working days before the booking date. After this time we would not be able to issue a refund. (Refunds can take up to 10 working days to complete)
Can my child bring their phone or tablet?
We encourage all young people to leave their devices at home, if they need to get in contact with you they can phone from our reception phone. If they do bring a device, they will only be allowed to use it during certain times of the day when other technology is available (young people are responsible for any device they bring).
Will food be provided?
Breakfast, lunch and a snack is included.
Do you cater for dietary needs or allergies?
Yes – please let our team know about your child’s requirements when you book onto Holiday Club or by contacting the Youth Zone on 0161 676 4000.
Do my children need to wear anything specific?
Children should wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for them to take part in activities such as team sports and arts & crafts. They may also need any weather appropriate items such as a waterproof jacket.
Do my children need to bring any money?
All activities and meals are included in the Holiday Club session. Our tuck shop will be open, serving drinks and snacks, so members can bring a few pounds if they want an extra snack.
My child has additional needs, can they attend Holiday Club?
Yes, all our provision is inclusive! If your child needs extra support, please let us know in advance by filling in an “All About Me” form
