Our February Holiday Club is now here!
We have a jam-packed week planned for our Juniors, with themed activity days, challenges, team games and much more!

Monday 16th February – Nature & Sustainability Day
Get hands-on with our Bug Hotel Making Workshop, Nature Art sessions and an exciting Garden Makeover!
Menu: Jerk Chicken/Jerk Quorn, Rice, Peas, CornÂ

Tuesday 17th February – Football Camp Day
Drills, skills, and football tournaments! Please bring boots (no metal studs) and shin pads.
Menu: Fish Fingers, Veggie Sausages, Wedges, Beans, Peas

Wednesday 18th February – Around the World Day
Travel the world in a day at the Youth Zone – learning about countries and cultures from around the world!
Menu: Spaghetti Bolognese, Veggie Bolognese, Garlic Bread
Thursday 19th February – Art & Enterprise Day
Create bold product design, branding and pitch your business idea!
Menu: Build Your Own Packed Lunch

Friday 20th February – Colour Wars Day
Work together as a team to win points & prizes!
Menu: Mac N Cheese, Tomato Pasta, Garlic Bread
Breakfast, lunch and a snack is included each day! Young people may also bring their own packed lunch if preferred.
Please arrive no later than 10am as all activities will start at this time!
Final pick up time is 5pm!
JUNIOR HOLIDAY CLUB - FAQs
Can my child bring their phone or tablet?
We encourage all young people to leave their devices at home, if they need to get in contact with you they can phone from our reception phone. If they do bring a device, they will only be allowed to use it during certain times of the day when other technology is available (young people are responsible for any device they bring).
What time are the sessions?
Drop off time is between 8am and 9am and collection time is between 3pm and 5pm.
Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
Yes, you can cancel a booking and get a full refund as long as this is no later than 3 working days before the booking date. After this time we would not be able to issue a refund. (Refunds can take up to 10 working days to complete)
Can I move my booking to another date?
Yes, you can move a booking up to 3 working days before the original date and only if there is space available on the new date.
Can I drop off my children at a later time?
Children can arrive later than their session start time, however they may miss breakfast if they arrive after 9.15am
Can I pick up my child earlier than the allocated pick up time?
Yes, collection time is between 3pm and 5pm however if your child needs to leave before this, this is absolutely fine!
What ages is the Holiday Club for?
SYZ’s holiday club is for 8 – 12-year-old members.Â
Do I have to be a member at SYZ to attend?
Yes – you can register to become a member here.
Will food be provided?
Breakfast, lunch and a snack is included.
Do you cater for dietary needs or allergies?
Yes – please let our team know about your child’s requirements when you book onto Holiday Club or by contacting the Youth Zone on 0161 676 4000.
Do my children need to wear anything specific?
Children should wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for them to take part in activities such as team sports and arts & crafts. They may also need any weather appropriate items such as a waterproof jacket.
Do my children need to bring any money?
All activities and meals are included in the Holiday Club session. Our tuck shop will be open, serving drinks and snacks, so members can bring a few pounds if they want an extra snack.
My child has additional needs, can they attend Holiday Club?
Yes, all our provision is inclusive! If your child needs extra support, please let us know in advance by filling in an “All About Me” form
