VOLUNTEER SPORTS YOUTH WORKER

Location: Salford Youth Zone
Hours: 4 hours per week (although there is flexibility in this)
When: Monday evenings, Wednesday to Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday AM/PM

Our Volunteer Sports Youth Workers help us deliver an exciting program of physical activities, building confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing through our sports offerings. We’d love for you to bring in fun new sports to our sessions, anything from roller hockey to boules!

VOLUNTEER WELLBEING/INCLUSION WORKER

Location: Salford Youth Zone
Hours: 4 hours per week (although there is flexibility in this)
When: Monday to Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday AM/PM

Our Volunteer Wellbeing/Inclusion Youth Workers help us deliver a range of specialist sessions that provide young people with additional needs the opportunity to engage in fun and inclusive activities; helping build confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing. Opening an inclusion offer helps create a supportive environment for young people with additional needs, as well as their families or guardians to connect.

VOLUNTEER YOUTH WORKER

Location: Salford Youth Zone
Hours: 4 hours per week (although there is flexibility in this)
When: Monday to Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday AM/PM

As a Volunteer Youth Worker, you will be engaging with our members as soon as they walk through the door, whether that be through leading topic tables or creating activities to encourage team building, confidence and conversations. Flexibility and imagination are key to this role!

VOLUNTEER CATERING YOUTH WORKER

Location: Salford Youth Zone
Hours: 4 hours per week (although there is flexibility in this)
When: Monday to Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday AM/PM

Our Catering and Tuck Shop Volunteers help us to provide young people with a hearty, free meal. They’re the friendly faces who support the smooth running of sessions by making sure bellies are full and minds are engaged! This allows us to run sessions for young people that build their confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing.

RECEPTION & ADMINISTRATION VOLUNTEER

Location: Salford Youth Zone
Hours: 4 hours per week (although there is flexibility in this)
When: Monday to Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday AM/PM

Our Reception and Administration Volunteers are the face of our Youth Zone. They welcome in young people with a smiling face and a warm ‘hello’. In addition to this, they provide us with vital administrative support that allows us to run sessions for young people that build their confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing.
